Albert England died from wounds on 31st March, 1915, after having been sent to a base hospital on the coast, but as yet there is no information as to when and where he was wounded. The 4th Rifle Brigade battalion was part of 80 Brigade, 27th Division, that had arrived in France in December, 1914 and during early 1915 had been in the line just to the south of Ypres. |
